It’s been about a week and a half since the Knitted Wit and PDXKnitterati Trunk Show at Stash, but the effects are still lingering. We have new yarn and patterns in stock from both designers: Bulkan, a Merino Cashmere Nylon aran weight yarn, and This Little Ziggy hat and vest. I’ve already cast on for the hat using Knitted Wit’s polwarth silk DK yarn, and it is a dream to work with.
But back to the trunk show…
Lorajean and Michelle drove down from Portland with a station wagon full of baskets and bins of yarn and sample knits. It was a sight to behold, and I could barely contain my excitement as they each unpacked their wares. Isn’t this vintage orange suitcase full of woolens sweet?
I think we all had a fun afternoon of yarn appreciation, social knitting, and project planning. I know I came away with a few new projects on my to-do list!
Thanks to everyone who came out to support these independent business ladies! I’m so proud to have their work at Stash, and am happy that you like it, too.
Our next trunk show is with Salem hand-dyer Stephania Fregosi of Three Fates Yarns on December 17 from 2-5pm.
