Coastal Knits at Stash

Gnarled Oak (left) and Wildflower (right) Cardigans

As soon as the book Coastal Knits arrived at Stash this fall I knew it was something special. More and more Stashers have been working on projects from the book, and everyone has great things to say about it.  Seeing the actual sample garments in person is such a treat.  There are details that just don’t translate through photographs: the weight of the yarn, the feel of the baubles, leaves, and lace, and the fit or hang of each piece.

Now that the trunk show is here and I’ve tried on all the sweaters, I have to say the Wildflower Cardigan is my favorite. Feminine and classic with lots of sweet details, this cardigan would get a lot of wear. Other favorites include the Rocky Coast Cardigan and the Gnarled Oak Cardigan.

What pattern do you have your eye on?  Have you knit any of them yet?  If so, we’d love to hear about it!  Share here, on Facebook, or in the Ravelry group.

The garments are on loan and will be at the shop thru Sunday January 15th, so hurry in!
